Laurie Scott
After graduating from High School, Laurie continued her post-secondary education at Lambton College, focusing on HR Management, Chemistry, and Psychology. Following graduation from Lambton College, Laurie held various positions within the Sarnia-Lambton community at Esso Chemical, Nova Chemicals, City Hall and Woodbridge Foam.
In 2003 Laurie Scott decided to make a change to her career and pursue her dreams of working in the real estate profession, first licensed as a Sales Representative and then eventually furthering her education and achieving Broker status in 2008. During this time Laurie owned Oakridge Developments; in which she employed a land developer/builder for the construction of custom homes. She selected designs , exterior, interior finishes of all model homes and staged each one uniquely according to their character.
In her 8?th? year of a successful full-time Real Estate Broker career in Sarnia-Lambton an exciting opportunity arose to expand her career as Sales Manager of a 100 new home build development in a local retirement community. Laurie concurrently managed the community’s sales program, adapting to an ever-changing resale market and increasing new sales entirely while continuing to serve her existing clients and referrals. Following 8 years of managing sales including 100 new builds and re-sale homes Laurie had the opportunity to expand her knowledge and became Broker of Record for Lifestyle Realty Associates Inc. based out of Wasaga Beach, Ontario while working from the Sarnia office. Laurie has extensive experience and knowledge of the local real estate market as well as sound understanding of the rules and regulations laid out for Realtors.
Laurie is an active volunteer in Sarnia Lambton and is currently a Facilitator for the Grieving Program at the Sarnia Hospice and Pippa her Golden Retriever is a St. Johns Ambulance Therapy Dog for the Hospice and Marshall Gowland Manor. Past volunteer work has been with Victim Services, B
